The Caddie Experience is proud to call Stoke Rochford Golf Club in Lincolnshire our home.
Set in picturesque parkland, this stunning course offers both beauty and a true test for golfers of all levels.
Playable year-round, with excellent course conditions, welcoming members, and exceptional staff, it’s the ideal setting for a memorable day on the course.
The peaceful surroundings and natural charm only add to the experience—making every round here something special.
The Caddie Experience works alongside Stoke's PGA Professional James Bennett who advises on Technique and Equipment for Caddie Experience Customers should they require it.
Who are we?
The Caddie Experience was founded by Duncan Bagshaw—also known to many as The Mad Caddie. With over 45 years immersed in the world of golf—as a player, coach, and now caddie—Duncan brings a rare blend of experience, insight, and passion to every round.
Following a professional playing and coaching career cut short by illness, Duncan transitioned into the fields of education and psychology.
That path ultimately inspired a new mission: to help golfers at all levels improve their game through a uniquely holistic approach—blending strategy, mindset, and wellbeing.
Golf, much like life, is unpredictable. At The Caddie Experience, we help players navigate both by equipping them with the mental tools, self-awareness, and course insight needed to thrive.
Duncan has caddied at iconic venues such as Gleneagles, JCB Golf & Country Club, and North Berwick Golf Club, working with elite professionals and everyday players alike.
Duncan also has extensive experience in SEN Residential Education and has also worked in Mental Health Services for the NHS where he worked with Veterans and Emergency Services Personnel.
He holds accreditations including the GCMA Principles of Golf Club Management Certificate and PGA-Approved Golf Mind Coaching Certification.
Today, Duncan leads a team of trained caddies who share his philosophy—delivering what we believe is a world-class, truly personal service.
When he’s not on the course, The Mad Caddie can be found running marathons with a bag of clubs on his back—all in the name of raising money for great causes such as The Prostate Cancer Charity and The Caddie School for Soldiers.
